Brilliant. No explanation needed; just check it out. If you love musicals, you'll love this. If you hate musicals, you'll love this...
That. Ride. Was. AWESOME! Brought the Pugs to Wirth, where rumor had it that the trails were, to use the parlance of the day, totally buff right now. And I can confirm that they were, indeed, exceedingly buff. Smooth, firm, no ice, and every corner was bermed up like the turns on a bobsled course, so you could really open it up and get flying... the sensation was a lot like slalom skiing. Such a good feeling to be outside having fun sweating in the sunshine... God I love this winter!
This is my car, Blackie (I actually didn't name it Blackie until right this second, but I think I'm going to go with it if only because that's what I'd name it if I were six years old, which was a warm and happy time in my life). I took this photo this morning to document that on March 10th, 2008, in Minneapolis, Minnesota, IT STILL FEELS LIKE THE MIDDLE OF A BRUTAL, UNRELENTING, SOUL-KILLING, GOD-FORSAKEN WINTER!
Actually, I think I will also name this winter Blackie, because that's the way it's made my heart feel for the last few cruelly cold weeks.
Today temps are supposed to climb into the soft, warm bosom of the thirties, and I, for one, am going for a goddamn mountain bike ride. Yes. Take that, cruel winter!
