As seen on 9th Ave. in New York. One would assume that someone involved in the process of making this sign would have noticed a couple of curiosities. Maybe they did, and the store owner said "Yes, I mean 'tobacco,' but I want it spelled 'tabacco.' And yes, we sell magazines AND magazine accessories, such as sales racks and protective covers. You insult me with your questions; just do as you're told!" I can't say for sure, but I'm thinking that's how it went down.
Last week I was in Chicago, and stopped by the Art Institute to see, among many other treasures, the Thorne Miniature Rooms. These are, to use an overused vernacular, dollhouses on steroids. The craftsmanship and attention to detail is mind blowing!
Me being an ardent ukulelist, I stumbled on this girl, who is, I think you'll agree, pure delight. The corners of her mouth lift everything! Check her out here. And be prepared to have a rock & roll crush.
My son gave me this nifty hydroponic gardening setup called an Aerogarden for my birthday, and I finally fired it up a couple of weeks ago. That's right, a couple of weeks (maybe three)... That's how fast this thing grows stuff! I've been harvesting a bowl of mixed greens about every other night for the past week. Delicious! Plus, the thing throws a kind of happy light that's nice to look at in the dead of winter.
