Eli just bellowed exultantly from his bedroom that today is a snow day, the first of his young life. He got the call from his best friend; no doubt there's a great flurry of happy texting amongst the pajama-ed youth of our cold city. I'm enjoying adding to my collection of snow drift photography as seen from my kitchen window, safely behind a cup of steaming coffee. There's two feet of snow on the ground, the Metrodome collapsed, there's a bus stuck in the street in front of my house, the schools are closed and it's ten below zero. That's my morning report. Now, more coffee.
