This probably happens to you as well, but I am regularly confronted with coincidences that make me believe in some kind of grand order, if only for a few minutes. For instance, the same day I noticed the word "gibbous," as in "gibbous moon," (as opposed to crescent, but not quite full) and looked it up, I met a guy whose last name was Gibbous. And appropriately, he was balding in a way that resembled a gibbous moon. A couple of weeks ago some friends and I were having a road-trip conversation about whether female cops were as physically qualified for their duties as male cops when we had a break down and were immediately rescued by a female cop, whose grace and persuasive skills (long story) got us out of a bind that most male cops would have bungled. A couple of days ago a friend and I saw a bear running across the road, and I commented that about the only animal native to the region that I have never seen in the wild is a Badger.
