Here's an idea for a centerpiece at your next banquet: a creepy ice guy! Just fill the back of the Stone Faces mold with clear water, freeze it, fill the face side with colored water, freeze it, then set the colored face in its clear backdrop along with a little water and freeze them together.
I think that if you boil the water before freezing, you will wind up with clearer ice. Next cold snap, I'll give that a try...
